THOUGHTS &
NOTES

Race car drivers know something most agents don't.

Training gives you information. Mentoring gives you someone else's path. Here's what's actually missing.

It's the most common thing I hear, and it's almost never the real problem. Stuck is what it feels like from the inside. It doesn't tell you what's actually happening. So here's what's usually underneath it.

SMART goals are meant to be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. And here’s the twist: achievable doesn’t just mean “realistic.” It means “within your control.” If you’re setting goals that rely on other people’s yes, you’re not setting goals—you’re making wishes.

The digital age bombards us with information. This constant pull fragments our attention, leaving us stressed and disconnected. Mindfulness—being fully present in the moment—counteracts this

It’s not just about money; it’s about what money enables—more time with family, a dream home, or giving back. Your Big Why is like a compass for your career. Keller puts it perfectly: “A Big Why brings big focus and big energy.” Without it, you’re just checking boxes—making calls, posting on social media, hoping for a deal. But with a clear Why, every task has purpose.

As a real estate agent, you’re not just selling properties—you’re selling dreams, security, and new beginnings. Storytelling is a powerful tool to connect with clients emotionally, build trust, and stand out in a competitive market.

It’s important to understand that this inner voice is a common human experience, NOT a personal flaw. It needs understanding rather than banishment.

I used to wait for the ideal strategy to launch a new project, but all that waiting left me with zero progress. The reality? No plan means no action, and no action means no growth.
